Appleby Magna Food Gusto Festival – Saturday 25th August 2018
The Appleby Magna Food Gusto Festival was held on the August Bank Holiday weekend, with a wide range of great food, drink, music and activities for all the family and was a great way to end the holidays.
Where was it held?
The festival was held on Saturday 25th of August from 10:30 – 16:30 on the beautiful grounds of the Sir John Moore Foundation, Top Street, Appleby Magna, just of junction 11 of the M42. Use the postcode DE12 7AH to find the venue on a sat nav or use the google maps link here. Entrance was £2, with children under 10 going free. Parking was available opposite the site.
What To Expect
The Food – Producers were selling meats, cheese, wine, beer, artisan breads, vegetables, jams, pickles, pates, herbs, charcuterie, crepes and more.
The Drink – People enjoyed a glass of wine, prosecco, champagne, farm produced cider or barista coffee
The Music – Why not make a day of it and relax to some great music by David Gray & Friends. More information here
The Artisans – We brought together some of the regions best Artisans in the Main Hall. Visitors came along and met the Artisans with real passion and creativity for their craft.
