We had stacks of entertainment for both Saturday & Sunday of the Ashby Food Gusto Christmas Fair. Read more below.

Saturday

There was a great live community entertainment programme, as per below. This was coupled with a range of kids rides and an opportunity to meet Santa!

Sunday

We had a jam packed entertainment programme. Santa visited again, along with live reindeer, there was a large selection of children’s rides and activities and a live music programme which you can find below!

 

Music Programme

11-11:40 LOCKS are a waits-infused, skeletal-blues, band based in North London. There is a subtle fixation on the darker, unnerving aspects of life and death whilst keeping a jaunty, roots based rhythm flowing underneath.

12:20-1300 Blurred Fire – An acoustic duo from Derby playing an eclectic mix of well known pop and rock songs, aiming to playing something everyone will sing along to!

13:40-14:20 Mitch Colcombe – Offering a chilled out acoustic sets. Repertoire of classic and modern hits from artists such as Oasis, Jack Johnson, George Ezra, Tom petty and Ed Sheeran.

15:00-15:40 Kirsty Clarke and Dave Monks currently working under the name Indie Mama. Have been together for two years. Kirsty a singer songwriter performs solo, band and currently mainly in duet with Dave. Dave has been and is involved in many bands in different genres, and adds guitar arrangements to compliment the covers and original songs. Both have performed at Warton music festival and Godiva BBC stage of the year. Songs have been professionally recorded, currently being played on local radio station and BBC introducing Coventry and Warwickshire.
