This year’s festival is set to be the biggest and best yet, with exhibiting businesses again being hand picked for variety, provenance and passion to ensure visitors get a taste of something different from the region’s finest producers.

In addition to the sight, smell and taste of amazing food from dozens of artisan producers, Ashby de la Zouch Food Gusto Festival will include a full line-up of live music from local artists, plus fairground rides for the children and Rotary’s Gusto Bears Picnic. The Rotary’s Gusto Bears Picnic completes the day out for families as children can enjoy the Punch and Judy Shows, Magicians and take part in the competitions while their parents can relax with some great food and drink.
Food Gusto event director Wes Ewing said: “The Food Gusto Festivals have really taken off and we’ve worked hard to create an unforgettable experience for the festival goer.
Our festivals are about relaxing and having a good time as a family, while sampling some amazing food and drink. The event is improving all the time as we establish it as one of the region’s best food festivals.
“Each pitch is carefully considered so that visitors experience a variety of culinary delights, such as artisan bread, farmhouse cheese, pickles, cured meats, locally produced wine and beers, Prossecco, handmade confectionery, unique cakes, delicious pies and much more.”
