Great Food and Drink At The Ashby Food Gusto Christmas Fair – Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd December

This years Ashby Food Gusto Christmas Fair promises to be the best yet with an even larger range of exhibitors and enhanced entertainment through both days. With local exhibitors bringing amazing hot and cold food and drink, along with artisan gifts, the weekend will be perfect for some Christmas Shopping!

Hot food is available both days, so you can dine out on anything from Organic Beef, Burgers & Sausages, Charcoal Grilled Souvlaki, Samosas to Thai , Wood Fired Pizza and freshly made Crepes. This can be washed down with a Local Cider, English Wine, Specialist Spirit, Hot Chocolate, Specialist Tea or Barista Coffee.

There is an amazing list of products on sale, including Afia’s handmade Samosas and Pakoras, artisan cheese, assorted home baked cakes including – Cupcakes, traybakes, cake slices and large cakes, award winning Melton Mowbray pies, Doggy Christmas treats, tasty churros, donuts, popcorn, candy floss, fantastic fresh cookies, handmade chopping boards and kitchen equipment, home crafted garden furniture, homemade truffles, caramels, sweet cones and novelty chocolates, local handmade fudge, local honey, mouthwatering crepes, olives, nuts and baklavas, pick and mix cheese, rarebreed meats, and even Vegan and Vegetarian cooking. We also have artisan coffee, milk shakes and smoothies, Buzzard Valley wines grown in Staffordshire, distinctive London Gins, farm produced cider, flavoured liqueurs, Pink Gin and Vodka and sparkling gold bubbly.

We have got a jam packed entertainment programme, as on Saturday we move from local choirs to a One Direction Tribute band, while on Sunday you can relax to Jazz music from the Strife of Riley and some foot tapping music from Sincerely Yours. There will also be a range of childrens ride for the little ones and even Santa will be visiting!

The Ashby Food Gusto Christmas Fair is held in Ashby on Market Street, with stalls opening from 10.30am to 5.00pm on Saturday and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sunday.
